Another 2 thumbs down to S&W

Win. , fed. Probably 1500 rounds. I want to see how well fireclean works. The bolt wipes clean! Fireclean is great. I didnt do the barrell with fireclean. Used up all the **** winchester.

Guess i will be using the daughters pink one this week (after 2 trips to S&W to fix).

Well the gun is on its way to S&W. Not very happy about the wait time.

For those that ask what happen, the cleaning rod/brush is stuck in barrell! It went it, got a little tight then stuck! Before you ask, I tried everything i could think of. It wont move. Im at the point even if i got it out, i would question the barrell. So time for new one.

Got the tacticool22 vise clamp and nut tools. Learned how to take the thing apart.

You messed up the barrel and you give S&W two thumbs down?

How many thumbs down did you give yourself?

Yeah i give them 2 thumbs down. The 2 trips for warrenty repair for my daughters 15-22 didnt help my opinion of them.

I see lots of others are not happy about not being able to order parts.

But no thumbs down for yourself?

Five months doesn't sound right unless they simply don't have any barrels and waiting for new production. Eh... I woun't be surprised if you got your rifle back closer to two or three week than five months but who knows...

On the bright side... $50/brick. A couple bricks a month. Five months. S&W service will have saved you $500. ;)

I find myself knocking out strands of lead from my .22 Compact pistol after 150-200 rounds of Thunderbolt. Maybe 300 of anything else. Can't imagine how gummed up / blocked it would be at 1500 rounds.

Plugging one end of the barrel and filling it with a bore cleaner to soak overnight was the way out for the first "too many Thunderbolts" experience.
