Another 41 question....

Got a 41 with 7 3/8 barrel and muzzle brake (no barrel weights) in orignal box with receipt (1968) but no inner wrapper or booklet. This is in 95% but has been shot as there is lead built up in the brake. It is gorgeous.

I have been approached a few times to sell it but was never interested. I may be now...what is it worth as a real market value (other than the "send it to me for destruction" comments)? Thanks!

If I wanted to sell a gun that I was not sure of the value of I would put it on Gunbroker, start it at a penny ($0.01) no reserve on a 14 day auction. This is a desirable and not easy to find gun.

The problem today is that a gun will sit around forever at one price and then a month later one much like it will sell right away for more money.

I'm in Arizona hiding from the cold so I don't have my SCSW book, but somebody that does can look it up for you. But then that is only a (rough) guide.

If you sell it you will be sorry.

Assume it is in the SN range of 78000-88000 with box but nothing else (and without the inner cardboard cutout) @ 95% range - $650- $785
