WOW! That fellow is in COMPLETE control of his body. If I tried to use some of those muscles, well, something bad would happen.

His operator is pretty good with the remote control, but still has to practice some to make it look natural.

I'm glad you put this up.

Every time my wife and I go to Vegas, a half dozen friends will insist that we need to go see one of the Cirque shows. We've never done it (rather spend the money on good food and clothes), and watching this shows me that we've made the right choice. Like sporting events and a lot of popular music, this appears to be one of those things that most people like but would just sort of bore me.

So, I really am glad you put this up - now I can see what all the fuss is about and confirm that it's just not for me. Thanks! :)

My wife and I saw the Cirque Iris show last week at the Kodak theater. It was pretty awesome. What made it even more fun was that I got a backstage tour from the twin acrobats that open the show. I met them at my morning coffee shop a few months back and we became friends. They got us great seats too...if you get a chance to see it, get mezzanine level seats...otherwise you'll be craning your neck much of the show...:)

Here's the guys 10 years ago....pretty amazing to still be doing this at 36 years old..

Oh...I forgot to mention...as a payback for the tix, I'm taking them shooting...I already told them no trick stuff...feet planted firmly on the ground....:)

In all fairness, you really can't judge a Cirque show based on one little clip. We saw Love at the Mirage last week, for the second time. It was built around the music of the Beatles, but would even entertain the non-fan.

I started going to concerts in the mid-70's, and saw some pretty good ones. But, none of them even came close to the visual awesomeness of the Cirque show we went to. Not to mention the soundtrack that George Martin put together for it.

Just my $.02!

Yeah, but I can get an idea of whether it's the kind of thing that I was thinking it was (and which did not "grab" me) - and it is. :) I'll leave the seats for folks who are more interested . . . and save the money for Robuchon or whatever. :)

Thanks for the link! With that kind of situational awareness,
they'd be Great pilots, too.
Spent a lot of years climbing, and when the first one jumped onto
the outside of the wheel, my hands got Really sweaty! TACC1
