This thread is all about the one that did not get the recognition you felt it deserved. A song, or songs, as it were, by bands which did not see the light of day, songs which kick some serious..........
But you are very unlikely to hear them on the radio.
This is the antithesis of top 40 hits. And every band has a lot of them.
Example: Overplayed to death, beat you with a 2x4 song you could do without: Skynyrd; Sweet Home Alabama.
Now, what we are looking for: Skynyrd. A little something slightly different and on the road less traveled.....the needle and the spoon - lynyrd skynyd (with lyrics) - YouTube
