Hey everyone just picked up my mp15-22 yesterday and took it to the range this morning to do some target shooting at a outdoor range. I was very impressed with the accuracy of the mp15-22 shooting around 50-60 yards. I install the magpul fronts and rear grip along with a plinker tactical charging handle. I put about 250 round of Cci mini Mags/varmint along with some federals, only got 1 FTE out of 250 rounds. I order some various brands of .22lr so I can figure what ammo my mp15-22 will like and not like. On the other note I was shooting my buddies mp15 sport and now the question is to pull the tigger and pick one up. My main reason going with the mp15-22 was beginning able to drive 10 mins to the range and shoot it vs the mp15 sport I have to travel 40 min to shoot since I live in southern California a lot of the ranges won't allow .233/5.56 nato

The Sport is a great rifle for the price. There are a lot of threads about the it already. If you're asking us if you should get one then that is purely your decision. I'd first, however, figure out your budget and see what other options may present themselves. There a lot of low-mid range (cost wise) ARs out there. Check out the other M&P 15s and see if they offer something you might find appealing.
