Another new scam I just received.

I just got a text from this number: 907-720-4914, saying it was from IRS-GOV stating: " You have a outstanding Debt on your IRS account this may result in a penalty please visit https://mobileirsidmedprofile.de file a report now" It had an IRS logo and everything with the text. They never give up, do they?

Pretty common. The “.de” address indicates Germany. Pretty sure IRS does not operate from there.

A LOT of scams thru email the last couple of years with the '.de' address. I thought India was bad on the phone scams now it's the Germans with email!

A few years I got a similar message from our equivalent, the CRA, here in Canada. When I checked the full headers, it ended in".br" I was "pretty sure" there was no CRA office in Brazil!
