My 32acp Savage 1907. The 1907 was the first double stack magazine pistol made in the US and this particular model was made from 1907 to 1914.
It was advertised as an ideal "ladies" pistol because of its' 10 round capacity, light recoil, and small size, though it was very popular with men as a pocket pistol.
This one was nickel plated at some time in it's long life and though it still shoots good the finish is quite worn.
It's striker fired so what looks like a hammer is actually a cocking lever. It also has a unique delayed blowback action where the barrel rotates slightly on a cam to delay its' movement until the fired round has left the barrel.
Jude Law's character carried a 1907 in the movie "Road to Perdition".

I have one in the original finish which has some light pitting. A unique design for sure. Seems a bit large today for a "ladies' gun" or a pocket pistol in today's Levies. What looks like a hammer is actually one long piece with a long pointed nose. I guess you could call it a striker. Once in a while I get mine out and fire a few rounds just for a bit of plinking.

Had one and gave it to my son. It's a .380 which apparently only 10% were. Nice shooting gun!

One of my favorite early auto pistols! Currently have two 1907 models in 32 and one 1917 model in 380. Nice little pistols, I enjoy shooting them!

Those early Savage pocket guns are great. I have a 1907 and a 1917. Love to shoot them.

This is a later one. It was bubbafied when I got it. You can't tell where the 'artist' did the damage to it. It is a good example of a salvaged survivor.
