Finally got in a range trip to function test some semi-auto pistols. Just to make it different, I didn't take anything that could be called a classic J M Browning design when it comes to operation. Bet that doesn't happen every day.
The top row shows two guns where the lock and unlocking is achieved using rotating barrels. A Grand Power Q100 is on the left, and a Mauser M2 on the right.
In the middle is an Arsenal Strike One using the Bergmann lock up system.
The pistols on the bottom row both use gas-delayed blowback. On the left is a Steyr GB with its gas brake system made up using an elongated barrel bushing that fits around the barrel. To the right is a Walther CCP M2 that using a piston system like an HK P7.
