I am so sorry for your loss. Dogs are not just pets but members of our families. I have had many members of my family that I had to put down for different reasons. It is never easy. I have 3 dogs now. The last one was a pup I found on the side of the road. He has turned into a beautiful dog. His name is Roady.
I know your heart aches but it will get better with time. But you will never forget her. God bless.

Sorry for you, brother. I also have had this recently, actually two in about 2 months, both old, good friends. It hurts, but my solace is that they are waiting for me somewhere, someday. Actually makes me kind of tear up thinking about it. Again, I am sorry.

My sincere condolences. I know well how very difficult it is to release them across The Bridge.

It always hurts to lose a furry family member and I feel your pain. "Bubbie" was with us almost 16 years before we lost him. About a year later Tiger showed up on our porch. In just a matter of days he had firmly entrenched himself in our hearts.
I know one day our hearts will be broke again, we just hope it will not be soon.

So very sorry to hear about Fauna, pics show a happy loved dog. I think about the ones I've helped to the Bridge and it makes me feel good to know I loved them and gave them a good home. And they gave me unconditional love and many many laughs.

You did the kindest and most loving thing for your Fauna. I admire your courage and selflessness on her behalf, especially when making that decision is grueling. She was a great girl, and she had a great family to love her. I will pray for you in your loss. I'm sure you will remember and cherish the good times.
