Another sad report-another great gone. Efrem Zimbalist Jr passed away.

"Surfside Six... in Miami Beach!!" That was Troy Donahue and Diane McBain, a classic beauty if there ever was one. 1961

Never forgot when Zimbalist appeared on The Merv Griffin Show with Bette Davis in the early 70s. "Men age better than women," said Davis. "Look at him, he's not far from my age and he's so much better looking than I am. And I was good-looking."

There was a raft of those detective/adventure shows back then, all essentially alike except for location.

Speaking of Troy Donahue, I have a complete and original set of Lobby cards for him in: Bugles in the Afternoon. I wonder whatever became of him?

They are courtesy or Ritter Laundry. Actually-having to use CC Public Library Computers until I can get a new one--hopefully by August. They have image and word filters on most or all computers so im having trouble trying to relist my WWII German uniform items I had sold-but buyer never paid.
