Had another problem with my brand new Shield 9mm. My trigger reset spring has broken. Just spoke to S&W and they're sending me a prepaid label to get the gun sent in, but man, I'm so annoyed that this pistol has had issues since day 1. This is the second "brand new" malfunction I've had with my Shield 9mm. It occurred either before or as a result of the very first shot I took with the pistol. My first problem was with the slide stop spring, which was not properly tapped into the front rail group. So when I stripped the pistol down to clean it before I shot it for the first time, I couldn't get the slide back on because the stupid spring was sticking out. Long story short, I fixed that, and then this dadgum trigger reset spring broke. Very, VERY frustrating! Has anyone else had this problem??
