Another Titanium Cylinder Question

Read some of the old comments about fired 357 mag shells sticking in titanium cylinders --was this with all titanium cylinders in all guns ?? or did S & W just have a problem with some ??--thanks for the info

I own a 340PD, and I don't think it is an issue of the shells sticking.

If you use less than 120gr bullets, the recoil could possibly unseat the bullets from the case, and bind the cylinder.
 
I've put maybe 5K handloads using 357 brass through my 340PD and 360PD without a hiccup. I don't use particularly hot loads, more like +P in fact, but they work perfectly.
 
None of my Ti cylindered guns has ever had a problem.
 
Mag-Tech jumped crimp in my 386pd - was not the lite ammo . . . have not bought any since.

I had shells stick in my 329pd, before I learned not to shoot magnum loads after specials without first cleaning the revolver. I really messed up the gun banging the cylinder on the edge the table; S&W fixed my mistake free of charge.

I suppose you would want to clean your revolver after shooting 38 specials, before shooing 357 magnums.
