I'm considering some in small pistol. I usually shoot Winchester, but these are so much less expensive. Any thoughts?

Tula/Wolf primers seem to be a little larger diameter which makes them a little tougher to seat all the way.

As long as you have them seated properly, they work fine.

Like said above, Tula are Wolf primers and I've read mixed reviews on them both.

I use a few boxes of Wolf SPP in the beginning of the Obama shortage and didn't notice and performance differences between them and CCI or Winchester.

I've used both Wolf and Tula SPP, and have read that they are one in the same. However, I had excellent luck with the Wolf primers and only so-so luck with the Tula primers. I have had the occasional "dud" with Tula and would not consider purchasing them again. I would suggest you not depend on them for a match or self defense situation.

Thanks for the replies. I've had trouble in the past with CCI and high primers. It seems like they are a little bit larger than Winchester. As hard as I try, I still get the occ high primer with them. I'll probably stick with Winchester.

I have been using nothing but Wolf primers in large and small. If the Tula (which are made in the same factory) are indeed the same then I would use them. I have had no problems with the Wolf.
Maybe one or two duds out of thousands

I also prefer Win primers but for the price and range blasting not worth it to me..
