Any Fans of Irish Coffee on here?

Yep! In fact, I’ve paired my banana peanut butter waffle with a fine cup of Irish coffee:p

I flushed out my system last night with copious amounts of Red Bull and Ketel One vodka. I think it's almost about time to fire up another Irish Coffee. Well since I use bourbon instead of Irish whisky, I guess it's more like a hillbilly coffee.
 
I have enjoyed them on occasion especially at the Buena Vista in San Francisco. They claim to have invented the drink and sure it was lovely to see them lined up on the bar, but it's origins are still highly disputed. The Buena Vista
 
I used to drink my Irish coffee with Bushmills 10 year, and instead of whipped cream I would get whipping cream to pour into it. Since I stopped using dairy in my coffee I just pour a shot or so of inexpensive Presidente Mexican brandy in.
 
My introduction to Irish Coffee was at the Buena Vista in San Francisco. Funny thing, my ex-wife and I met some French people there and were having a grand old time. We didn't speak French and they didn't speak English. Must have been the Irish Coffee speaking.

These days my Irish Coffee is Bushmills whisky, homeroast Sumatra coffee and slightly whipped cream laced with Demerara sugar. A couple of those and I'm (temporarily) fluent in French.
