Good evening. I am new to this forum and i just wanted to know if anyone had any info on this old revolver (or whats left of it)
that i found in a box of movie props from at a local estate sale. It is marked .38 spl ctg* on the left side of the barrel and also has the letter P stamped in front of the trigger guard. The right side it is marked Smith & Wesson and has the Smith and wesson logo. Above the cylinder its marked Revolver, Lightweight, M13 and on the back of the grips its marked Property of U.S. Air Force. The grips also have some letters and numbers etched on them and there is a number on the bottom of the grips c367695. It would be interesting to find out the history on this oldy. Its a bummer to find a neat old gun in this condition but on the bright side i am the proud new owner of a 686 ssr that my wife purchased for me.
