
I am not the original owner of my 17-6, but I am familiar with it's history and am certain that it came with the smooth wood combat stocks. Serial # is BEE 88xx. Carton states Fin. B, Stock. SB, Features F/L FULL TAR.

is your product code the same?? just curious to know if a 617 with target grips would have a different P.C.?

This is how mine came. Bought it ANIB but I am not the original owner.
I have come to understand the SB under stocks on the box end means "Square Butt"
Notice the description of "Full Target" on the box end.
That was what got me thinking about the grips on my gun.
I have both 4", and 6" first year model 617's. They both had the smooth combats on them when I bought them. It is hard to believe that someone would have changed them.
