Anybody else checked out the new 2013 S&W Catalog?

im talking about here Catalogs - Smith & Wesson which is the subject of this thread, the 2013 catalog

Same site. I just browsed the online 2013 catalog where it IS listed under Handguns/Revolvers/Small Frame. Didn't bother to download the three PDFs or make an attempt to decipher the inscrutable "interactive" flash version.

Anyway, the info with the picture says 8 rounds but in the information chart under it, it says 6 shots.
Which is correct?

I'm guessing 6. I own a 627 and fitting 8 rounds of 357 is already stretching it. Unless they find a way to fit in an even bigger cylinder, I don't see it really putting 8 rounds of 44mag. Would be awesome to see them try it with an X Frame snubby.

Doesn't seem to be in that one. Not a good sign.

I've seen stuff disappear off the other catalog at random, possibly when their stock is gone.

My guess is there was a left hand right hand problem trying to present the catalog in multiple formats.

I just got an email from S&W they do not have the 2013 Product catalog printed yet and they won't have it printed until March.

I may of missed them, but I didn't see the no-lock M&P340 or the no-lock 442 in those catalogs. I've been thinking about picking one or the other up, and if this means S&W won't be making more of them, I may have to pick one up sooner than later

They weren't in the 2012 catalog either if I recall correctly.

The pro series 442 without IL is in the 2013 catalog, so I can't imagine they would stop making the regular one without IL.

That's good. I keep thinking about getting a no-lock 442 or 340, but there seems to keep being something else that makes it higher on "the list". I don't see too many available, so they must be somewhat sought after...probably why it seems like they aren't making anymore

In the link by the original poster, catalog 3/3 shows the no lock 442/642, but I missed the 340 no lock.

I like the idea of the Gunsmoke 637, just leave off the "advertising" for the tv show.
