Anybody love 686's?

WOW...I am so not worthy...I only own one
If you have one that you like, can shoot it, and didn't go in debt for it or spend the rent/mortgage on, one is a sufficient quantity.

I myself only have one 686+-5 a no lock snubby, and I'm not interested in more... not sorry :)

Love my 4" 686+.
What is up with the 686 3-5-7 though? Just looks like they tried to copy an ugly Taurus copy of a 686. More expensive for an unfluted cylinder and upgraded (??) stocks.

686s are very accurate. No picky. Mine will shoot long Lyman 172s, generic 158 cast, XTPs, doesn’t matter. Fast, slow, makes no difference.

I’m really looking forward to my new Mountain gun to getting here. Can’t wait to shoot it.

wow…these are excellent examples of 686’s. I was collecting the 586 and 386 side of things before wi moved onto the 686’s. These pictures sure make me itch…in a good way. Do they make a blued or dlc 686 pro I wonder?

Here is a few of my L frame stubbies the first two are a model 686-1 on the left and a model 686 ND on the right neither one has the M stamp

I currently have two six inchers, a 6 inch 686-0, and 686-6. I also have two 4 inch, a dash 1 and CS1. The 3 inch began life as a dash 6 4 inch, six shot I picked up used for a good price. The sellers listed it as having holster wear. The face of the cylinder looked like someone cleaned it with a hard wire brush. I bought a 3 inch parts kit and had the barrel swapped. I picked up a new 6 shot cylinder and replaced the gouged one.

Picked up this 686-2 recently. Amazing how the finish pops. AZA serial number with matching grips, box, original docs, cleaning kit and oil paper. I paid $900. When looking at comps others seemed around $1,200. Based on condition I couldn't pass it up. How did I do? Also research that I found says this may be a 1988 revolver? Is that correct?IMG_2701.jpgIMG_2700.jpg
