ANYONE CARRY A 44SPCL SNUBBY?

Does a 3" 629 in a Simply Rugged pancake count? I carry 200 grain hollow point specials in it, and with the inside-out straps it is very concealable, under an untucked shirt or light jacket.

I carry a first generation Bulldog .44 with Gold Dot 200GR HP’s. She’s no beauty queen but I’ll stake my life on her to function flawlessly.
Once in awhile I carry a .45ACP 1917 Colt Army revolver with a 2 5/8" Bbl. in a apendix IWB holster. It's actualy suprisingly comfortable. But does require a loose sweatshirt or jacket to conceal.
Before someone starts forming a lynch mob (even though it's a Colt) NO I did not hack off the Bbl.

Hard to carry in my liberal state but I used an Taraus 44 special with a 3in barrel as my store gun for years, sold it off for what I paid for it after we closed up. I mostly kept it under the cash register or in my belt if the customer looked a little shady.Store was in Downtown Baltimore only had to pull it once, thank God I did not have to shoot it, but I am pretty sure it saved my live.
Very uncool to shoot a shoplifter in Baltimore, it’s apparently OK to smack a thief in the head with a 44 if he pulls a knife.
He grabbed a $600. briefcase, I grabbed him, he pulls out a steak knife, I swung my hand at his face, totally forgetting I had pulled my gun when he pulled the knife.
He went to the Hospital then jail then on to re-hab.I had to pay to have the carpets cleaned and spent 3 hours explaining to Baltimore finest why it was legal to have my register gun in my store and I did not need a carry permit to carry my gun in my store.Thank God his commanding officer was a customer.

I carry a stainless Charter .44, it does very well and is accurate.

For many years, I had a Taurus .44 Special that I had never shot. When I decided I wanted to get serious about owning handguns again, I took it to a gun shop and traded it. Didn't get much for it, but I didn't want to try to sell it outright...and later the shop owner told me it had several FTFs and then locked up tight. (He has a range associated with his shop, and always test fires used guns.)
Since then, I have had a S&W 24 - 3, and I traded it...one I really regret letting go.

I have a Charter S/S .44 that always stays in my console of my truck, loaded with 200 gn Gold Dots. Shoots very well and accurate at combat ranges. If it does get stolen...well at least it wasnt a smith.

It was rumored a year or so ago that Charter was going retro with a rebuild of the original 44 Bulldog. After they reengineer the cylinder stop; Oh I hope so.
Same reason a stainless Charter Arms Bulldog Pug with Silvertips is in my wife's car.
