Anyone carry left handed

Wheelguns and lefties don't mix. The cylinder pops out the wrong side. Mfrs occasionally make leftie revolvers, but they are few and far between.

I only said it cuz "I AM A LEFTY" also I'm ambi. And with practice I've got reloading down, awkward looking to some but it works for me. I'd challenge any righty to some speed shooting.......it'd be fun. And by being ambidexterous I can carry 2 guns and shoot both hands pretty accurately. You wouldnt wanna be on the business end of two blazing .357's

Single actions are made for lefties ;)

SA has the loading port on the right side because it is natural for the right hand to cant inward (toward shooter's torso), which places the port on top and facilitate (un)loading.

A leftie would have to cant the SA outward (away from torso) to so the same, which is more awkward and places the handgun further away from the loading (right) hand.

IMO, the DA revolver's wheel popping to the left side serves a similar favor for a right-handed shooter. The wheel pops "inward" and toward the loading (left) hand.

I understand a leftie can get might proficient at working a revolver - through practice - but I just don't see the revolver being as ambidextrous as semi-autos for reloading.

I'm a big lefty and carry this 3913 without any problem. The holster is an old Don Hume. I also carry a H&K USP Compact that has the paddle mag release and the safety decocker on the right side. I still prefer the 3913 setup. We lefties have a lot more to think about than non-lefties.

A lot of lefties end up being ambi out of necessity. I do most thing naturally with my left hand, but I write with my right hand. Mom forced me into that when I was in primary school, and I've never forgave her for that. ;)

I also switch hit when I played baseball as a kid, though my ERA was abysmal swinging right, but coach liked it because it confused da heck out of the pitcher. Being ambi also followed into firearms, but all of it only goes so far. Nature still win out over nurture. A leftie will always favor left hand, no matter what.

I'm a lefty and have been shooting wheel guns most of my life. Never thought it was a hassle. I carry a M&p .45c that has a mag release on both sides and haven't ever had a problem. I use an Alien Gear holster and also a VersaCarry once in a while. I think the choice of holsters is the main fix for this type of problem.

I make Kydex holsters and it does tend to happen to lefties more than right handers, so I tend to partially cover the release. I also use 0.080 Kydex which is thicker than the thinnest and enough that you cant press the mag release through it.

Thing to remember is everyone is built differently, wears different clothes and moves differently...
