I am new on this forum, and thought this might be a good way to introduce myself somewhat. I tend to collect lots of things. Among them are multi-tools and swiss army knives. I will only post 2 photos of part of my collection, as I do not know the photo posting rules that well and wish not to step on any toes inadvertently. With that said, I am curious to see if anyone else is into collecting these sort of things.

Some Victorinox knives.

I've liked Victorinox knives and multi tools, i.e. Leathermans and Gerbers etc. for some time. Here are two interesting ones I might even part with.

1. Victorinox Auto Tool

2. Wenger Matterhorn Knife

A few more photos.

The Multitasker drawer. I have quite a few of them, including some prototypes.

Here are the Wengers and Victorinox knives...

Here are the real special boxed knives that I didn't want to separate from the packaging.

Eveled, I enjoyed your collection. I only have one in my very meager folding knife group.

Feel like a slacker. I have the original Leatherman and a Gerber 600 multi-tool, maybe 8-10 various SAK's. Prefer the Alox scales myself.

What is the big swiss army knife? A sales display?

The level of organization appeals to my OCD almost as much as the collection itself; nicely done, sir.

With the choices available to you, what do you actually carry on an edc basis?

eveled, that is exactly what it is, a sales display. It is made of metal, and the tools swing out, but there are no back-springs. The bottle opener is wider and will not fit inside like all the other tools. There is also a small hole found on the end that looks like it would accept a threaded rod of some sort.

PatriotX because I work in a place where knives are not allowed, I can only carry a knifeless multitool. For years, that was the Leatherman knifeless Fuse. I now only carry a Swiss+Tech Utiliikey as it blends in with the rest of my keys.

opaul..thank you. Hoarding is no fun if you can't find what you are looking for. :)

Wow, you have a multi-tool made out of yellow cheese! How cool is that? Heh, heh. :D

But seriously, I have about 5 Victorinox Swiss Army knives and about 5 multi-tools (Leatherman and SOG). Plus various other knives. Least favorite? U.S. Navy Seal combat knife. Blade design is all wrong, and too heavy.

Hrm nice! I dunno about "collection" but I've had a few different multi tools over the years, fits into my "essential three" one should always have:multi tool, pocket knife,LED pocket light.

I think the main brands I've had are Leatherman and SOG,the SOG's are nice as you can tear them apart and replace tools or customize the set up.

The first one I ever bought was a Gerber-however I snapped the plier head bending wire! kinda soured me on the brand...

I spied both versions of the Auto Tool in the upper left corner of the top drawer, how tough was it to get the early version? That's the one I have.

Thank-you for sharing. I'm impressed.

I've had more knives than I actually need since early high school so maybe that makes me an old but small time collector. I only have a few SAKs and multi-tools.

Your stag scaled SAKs immediately caught my eye. I did not know they existed. How difficult is it to find one?
