Anyone have or seen any of the small S&W blue plastic cases for a J-frame?

I had to go see if my wife had thrown it away, but she hadn't. I have the one that came with my S&W 637 five years ago, complete with the internal lock keys I haven't looked at since.

But first, why do you want it?

You may have the larger size box. I dont think the 9x5 boxes have been made since 2001??
I want them for storage purposes, since the new S&W boxes are HUGE and take up too much space in the safe.

You shouln't store your guns in the S&W case. They will rust......eventually!!!

Store your guns in bore stores silicone impregnated bags, or something similar. They protect the guns from rust and take up no extra space in the safe.

I store mine in plastic bags inside the box anyway. I never had any rust!

Very true: my local gun dealer had a used Model 36 for sale that had severe corrosion on the the cylinder where it laid against the foam in the plastic box.

I have 5 plastic boxes the J frames came in! However the width is a little wider than 5". Your screen name is really hard to type on my keyboard, it only knows S&W!
