Anyone here only carry revolvers?

I carry a J frame (637)in 38 spl. I' 64. She's 35. I bought my oldest daughter a Charter Arms J frame in 38 spl. She liked the handle and the way it felt. I have to admit I talked her out of a 380 semi (Ruger LC380). I bought my youngest daughter a S&W Bodyguard in 38 spl. She loked it too. She's 31. I guess I like revolvers in that caliber. Like father like daughters. Good house guns and they are easily safety checked and cleared. As for the low amount of rounds (5 for all 3), I haven't been in a shoot out yet and I have reloads depending on where I go. :) Yiogo

My daughters have theirs loaded with semi wadcutters as per the retired chief's recommendation. I have mine loaded with silver tips. Yiogo

My fav.carries are a H&K P7,a Kimber Pro,or a S&w 65 & most of all a S&W 351PC(it's small & light & carried in a Sam Andrews pocket holster.

Just revolvers here. I carry a S&W Model 686-6 on duty with a S&W Model 37 backup. Off duty, I carry a 3 inch RB S&W Model 13-3 or a 4 inch SB S&W Model 10-5 with the Model 37 again. On rare occasion, I carry just the Model 13-3 or the Model 37 or a Taurus 85SSUL. More rarely, I carry both Model 37 and the 85SSUL. Last time we shot qualification, I was the only 100% shooter. Freaked the Glocksters.

My wife carries a 4 inch Model 681 loaded with Remington .38Spl +P 125 grain SJHPs.

It seems that the older some of us get the more likely that we will carry only revolvers. I like to think we are getting smarter with age! I carry a model 66-1 snub with a crimson trace laser, a model 60 snub with the same laser, a model 38 snub and a model 37 snub, but not all at the same time. I carry the 66 IWB at the appendex carry mode. I carry the models 37 and 38 in the pocket and the model 60 at the ankle.

The revolver gets out more than the semi auto. 442 you can carry wearing just about anything.

Well I have got to a point in my life where I have decided to go to one platform for my carry guns.
I am in my 50's and have been carrying full time since 1981.
After carrying about every brand and every kind of gun I have decided on only carrying double action revolvers.
My three carry guns are all J frame S&W's.
Two are 38's and one in 357 Magnum.
I will keep most of my shooting practice to these three guns and thank God that I reload 38's and 357 mags.
So to the point of my post.
Is there any one else here that have gone to only carrying revolvers?
It might seem backwards to some people but I feel real safe when I have my revolvers on me and I know that they are going to go bang when I pull the trigger.
I only carry revolvers. My EDC is a snubnose 357 Magnum; BUG(s) are a pair of J frame 38 Specials. When I am in the woods however, I open carry a 4" barrel 41 Remington® Magnum.

I have no use for bottom feeders.

Exclusively Revolver

When I work I carry a 66 2.5", a BUG (64 snubby) and 6 speedloaders.

Around town I stick to the 64 and 2 speedloaders, just love that snubby.

I do have a 1911 Colt that I carry rarely. Mainly just to keep in practice carrying it.
Normally I carry my 3" 66-2, 442 Pro Moon Clip, 2" 15-5 Combat Masterpiece Snub, 315 Night Guard, 310 Night Guard, or my 3" 625. I even pack my LCR 22 some times.

I could probably live with just the 3" 66 and 442. But it is nice to have more options.
I am 61 and have always liked revolvers.

I have a Shield, along with a Sig P220 & a P228 and they sometimes make it to the range along with my 60 no dash. However, they know their place in the gun safe and that's because my 66-1 (2.5") gets to accompany me wherever I go. It is my only carry year around, and a speed strip gets to tag along with us. I made the revolver choice long ago, and see no reason even to consider a change.

My opinion, others may vary................

My F-I-L had a 60 tucked in his cumberbun when he walked my wife down the isle 35 years ago. I have a 49 no dash that is my EDC. but there are days when I get an itch in my brain, and I feel the need for more than a 38 J-frame, then I carry a 1911 or Sig-220. It's not a lot of rounds extra, it's the big holes it makes. I'm looking for a 25-10 or similar in 45LC or ACP. Pay no attention to the LCP in the coat pocket it's lighter then a loaded 1911 mag. I have a Taurus 44 special but I don't have confidence in it, so I haven't put it on in 15 to 20 years. Thanks for letting me ramble on. Ivan

When I get my permit, I will carry my Ruger 38 LCR. That's what I bought it for. Fits very nicely in the pocket.

Yes, only Smith 44's. A mercilessly holster-worn 329PD is on my hip right now.

Revolvers are all I carry in 357s loaded with same in a 28-2 Highway paroleman and occasionally my 686 as well in cross draw holsters. Both 4" barrels. I'm 74 now and have no problem toting them.

I only carry Revolvers. Two at a time. All day every day. Most of the time it's 357 Rugers. I also like the 442 S&W.

I have carried revolvers exclusively since obtaining a concealed carry permit, most often a .357 Model 60 although sometimes I pocket carry a 642. FWIW I have never felt "under-gunned"...
