Anyone here Patrick Swayzee fans?

I thought he was great. I loved Dirty Dancing, Red Dawn, Outsiders and Roadhouse :) Dalton!

I remember I was intrigued as a kid with the Next of Kin trailer with all the cool firearms in the movie.

Speaking of Red Dawn, I skipped school for the entire day, waiting for the 3pm showing. I passed the entire first 3 hours in the morning dodging teachers and such sneaking around Southgate Mall and waiting for Aladdins Castle to open for the day. Game rooms were a great hideout for me while waiting for time to pass and the movie to start. I was in there for almost 5 hours playing video games and spent all of about $2 bucks doing so. :D Yes, I was a gamer in those days and darn good at it. :_))

Ringo, I used to do the same thing when Goldfinger was released. Not much in the way of video games back then, but I could really tear 'em up at the pinball parlor. I must have skipped school five or six times just for that one movie.
I loved spy movies. The Ipcress File was another favorite.
The posters billed it as The Thinking Mans Goldfinger!
Harry Palmer was almost too smart for his own good.

Heh heh, I didnt dodge classes much but did for I think 4-5 movies--two being Swayzee movies. I cant remember what the others were? but most likely were for: Cross of Iron, The Wild Geese and, The Big Red One.

On, The Big Red One. Back in 1980--it was first shown on HBO--I watched it every time I could. Then the next month it was played on Cinemax or The Movie Channel? I watched it over and over but alternating a few showings with HBO--because they were showing Hondo. It drove my brother nuts because he wanted to watch: Alien for the hundredth time. He wanted me to see that silly scene where the Alien burst out of the guys chest. I watched it--said whats so special about it? then walked into the living room to watch The Big Red One--yet again--then when Alien was over--they played, Hondo--again.
