Anyone know anything about the Bridgeton MO gun & knife show? I'm thinking about going and I'd like to know if it's any good before I do.
Thanks in advance.

I assume you mean the one at the Machinists Hall on St. Charles Rock Road? I haven't been there in about five years but it used to be the best in town and insanely crowded.

I went to every gun show in the area. Bridgeton was second best in the area behind (believe it or not) one in Illinois, I believe it was the Belleville Fairground but don't quote me on that.

I used to go to that show once a year just to remind myself why I didn't go more often. Many years ago that show was worth going to but the last few years it's just over crowded, doesn't have much I'm interested in, the prices on things are out of sight. The isles are set up for good flow until a bunch of, uh, dealers stack their rifle sticking out in the isle so only one person can get through if no one stops and the lighting is dark. If you live in the area look for the one at the St, Charles Convention Center, I haven't been to that one in a long time but they tell me it's still good. There are shows in Belleville and Collinsville IL that I find are good. Collinsville I like especially. Neither of these are over crowded, the folks are friendly and polite, there's a great selection of guns and stuff, and the lighting is great. The only problem with the IL shows is you can't buy a handgun without going through a dealer in MO and long guns require a 24 hour wait.

That's my opinion anyway.

Haveing said all of that I may go to the machinists hall just for something to do ...... naw I'll go shooting with the grandson instead. LOL

I have found a number of interesting guns at the Machinist Hall show. The dealers are a pretty good bunch of guys and the prices are no worse than any other show. If you are in the area ,it is a worthwhile stop. I drive 125 miles one way to attend. Joe.
