I guess there's a market for this stuff. Can't imagine why, but that's me.

That mag will make it look sure-nuff serious. Just might get a little noisy. Nothing wrong with having a little fun.

The Marlin or other carbine application sounds like a workable combination and a lot of fun ! Hanging that under a 1911, I would think, would make a pretty unwieldy piece of artillery. YMMV

Is there anything wrong with that?
Well if you want to spend money on that go ahead. I can use normal reliable mags just as easily.

Would you buy questionable tires for your car? How about questionable gas or questionable electronics? Why is it the when it comes to guns people are willing to pay money for junk?

I must be weird, I have no interest in any 1911 magazine over 7 rounds. I never feel like I have enough of them though.

One of the great advantages of a 1911 is the availability of magazines. They are non proprietary, plentiful, and readily available for cheap money.

Larger magazine capacity at the range = more ammo shot up.

My reworked norinco 1911 shoots clusters and cloverleaf at 25 yds. No need th spray and pray.
