Anyone Ride?

I got the Honda bug from my brothers, a '94 Magna and '03 Shadow ACE. I had plans for a VTX1300C, but health issues ended that :(.

The New 1300 Customs line looks great!

Not anymore. Sold my 65Pan after I got back from Azzcrackistan.

80 year old lady about finished what almost took place down range. I bought a boat:)

I'm pretty sure most the ones that bombed PH are no longer around. And by the way, this bike was made by good ol Americans at the Honda plant in Ohio.
Thanks Snapping Twig.

Yeah , I know. I also know that probably half of the parts used on new Harleys Davidsons are imported.

Doesn't mean I have to like it.

Wouldn't like it if new Smith & Wessons , Colts , Rugers , etc said 'Made in Japan' either.

Even though I had great respect for the longevity and reliability of the Boxer twin and loved to watch (and hear!) Reg Pridmores bikes during the Battle of the Twins race at Daytona (and Dr. John Wittmers Moto Guzzis) , I had always regarded BMW almost as stolid and stale as Harley. Till they came out with the inline 3 and 4 cylinder K-bikes back in the 80s. Yeah , they also put 4-valve heads on the Boxers and went to injection over the old Bing carbs. Still , progress was slow to say the least.

I must have been living in a time warp!

I stopped by a local BMW shop the other day and the new breed of Beemers absolutely blew me away. As did the prices! I've just gotta go back and see them undressed in the service dept. IF any ever need service!

With all the complicated electronics on the new BMW and the way all but one dealer has treated me poorly and even dishonestly I would never own another and even if I did I'd unload it when the warranty expired.
I have a Honda dealer close by that has been 100% honest and easy going with me. No problems at all, if I ever need another bike it has to come from them.

Used to ride this one for some 30years.
