Anyone sand the serrations off a trigger?

Shooting my old Model 36 and older Model 38 after my new 642 made me appreciate the smooth trigger. On the Chief's Special, I just took the ridges down a bit to make them less pronounced. I totally smoothed out the trigger on the Bodyguard with a Dremel and then crocus cloth and polish. both guns shoot much better now or, rather, I shoot them better.
