She died too soon like so many great talents. She played up the road in D.C. but I never heard of her til I started cruising You Tube. Could have hopped in the car and gone up to see her had she gotten the publicity she deserved.

Here's a piece that might make an earworm for you. It's not rock, but another discovery from my baroque ramblings.

It has a catchy, rhythmic tune, a grandfatherly conductor in full dress tailcoat with twinkling eyes and a light touch with his orchestra, a drummer providing a bit of comic relief, a fine soprano and bass-baritone duet, and a sumptuous chorus.
Besides that, what really got my attention was that all the performers were having so much FUN, just grinning and nodding at each other in time to the music all along the way. Go full screen so you can see details.

My playlist is all over the place from country, classic rock, blues, some jazz

I like the newer country and older classic country music. I like classic rock which is what I grew up on, I switched to the newer country because I couldn't find any current rock that appealed to me.

Do you stream music? I grew up listening to 70s and 80s rock. I still listen to some of it, but I'm into high quality home audio and a lot of those recordings are poor.

I've found newer rock on a streaming service called Qobuz that I like. Bands like Riverside, RPWL, Envy of None, Ghost of the Machine, etc. Some of it would be considered Progressive Rock.

I also listen to mellow stuff like Kacey Musgraves, Carolin No, Sarah Jarosz, Maiah Wynne.

I haven't streamed much music lately, I need to look into some of the newer rock. I grew up listening to a lot of music from the 60's into the 80's rock, except with the parents haha It was all country, with some Elvis and Fats Domino in the mix! lol
The newer rock I've heard seems to be missing that screaming electric guitar and booming drums?
