I realize this is coming out of left field for S&W forum. I am in need of some new tires. I have been looking at the Michelin Cross Climate 2. I have been getting mixed signals from both tire dealers and the internet evaluations.
I have a 2011 Toyota Camry. I bought it with new Yokohama tires. They have been miserable from day one. They spin on any rain whatsoever, I have to slow down going around curves to maintain control.
I had a GMC Jimmy Four WD that had the same issues with original factory tires. I put Michelins on it and they weren't very much better. I was very disappointed after spending over $ 800. I am not interested in most other manufacturers. (Pirelli, Continental, Cooper, Goodyear etc)
I am willing to try Michelin again. But I have heard about problems with the Cross Climate 2. Problems include noise, poor gas mileage and prematurely wearing out. Anyone have these? I'd also be interested in hearing about other tire manufacturers experiences,
