I installed a Apex competition trigger kit on my M&P 40 this afternoon. I shot it this evening and you owe it to yourself to do this!!!! It's awesome. End rant :)

That wasn't a rant, it was an awakening! Welcome to the large and ever growing club of Apex trigger fans.

I have a set coming from Midway...and a Storm Lake 9mm barrel for my .40c. It is going to have to be good, because what I got stock on mine is not bad at all and it only has 75 rounds through it. It was good right out of the box.

Glad to hear you like it. I guess you deem it money well spent?
Did you have the crunch in your trigger?

I just bought a S&W M&P .40 Compact with 24/7 nightsights and an APEX M&P Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Kit (DCAEK) is on its way.
Can't wait to hit the range.
Been looking for some of those 15rd. mags which are hard to come by.

I've got a full size .40 Pro on layaway at my LGS and I have the DCAEK waiting at home to install. I can't wait!

I've been considering the Apex kit for my m&p9c. How difficult is it to install? I've put Timney trigger kits in several of my rifles, so it's not like I'm a complete newbe.

I've now done it on 3 M&P's. Probably the toughest thing is driving the roll pins out. The rear is especially tough. I'm used to how the pins fall out of a Glock. It took me 30 minutes to do the first kit. I can do it now in about 15. Follow the video's on Youtube and it's straight forward. Most guys have an issue with the trigger spring and getting the pin in. I used a awl and held it in place to push the pin through.

Thanks for your input. It would appear that it would not be tremendously difficult. I'll watch the videos and take notes.

Once again, thank you.
