I been contemplating getting the DCAEK kits for my 9c and 40c. As of right now I only have the RAM installed. My girlfriend and I will use the compacts for carry. Im not looking for a really light trigger but wouldnt mind a crisper trigger although i do not think the triggers are all that bad. Is the DCAEK kit all i would need? What other option combinations would you suggest? I have watched numerous videos and read multiple threads but cant decide on what to get done.

Any suggestions or advice please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I have the DCAEK and RAM for my 9c. It brought my pull down to 5 1/4lbs. I conceal carry it and feel any trigger pull 5 lbs. and above is appropriate for CC. You can use different combination of stock/APEX springs to change the trigger pull for your taste.

if you like your trigger right now, you can just go with a new sear and go from there. i'm using the D/CAEK and AEK trigger on my M&P9 and like it. no need for the RAM since i just adjusted the trigger bow for better reset.
