AR newbie questions (not S&W)

It's the fan-boys with blinders on that get to me. Ever run into a rabid Glock fan-boy? Annoying as heck.

All the time at the range... They are fun to "goof on",really throws their game off.

Hey, watch it! I've been accused of being a S&W fanboy! Seriously thanks for all the replies and information. I know what I am paying would have bought much more gun a couple months ago. Honestly I hope everything settles down and I just threw a bunch of money away. If things go bad I might not have been able to get one in another couple months.

I think I might be an M&P Fanboy (I have about "half" the handgun fleet) And had/have a good run going on the Sporting Rifles...

You could have also waisted it turning whiskey or beer into saltwater too. You at least have something to show for it. And like you said,you might not have been able to get one.
