Are Model 64s Plus P rated?

Yes they are, actually any Model 10 or 64 in good condition will easily and safely handle +P ammunition.

Todays +P rounds are not loaded very hot. Although they can be a challenge in a J frame, Any K frame in good mechanical condition should have no issues.

If it is of any help that was our issued weapon and handled the FBI +P, our issued round, w/no problem.

Any K frame with a Model number is ok for +P ammo.

When we consider the small amount of change that was required to turn a M64 into a M65, which runs at about twice the pressure, its not too surprising to hear that a M64 can take plus P, at a pressure increase of about 10%.
