Are these grips ugly?

Grips that draw attention to a CCW is a very bad (stupid) idea. The Zombie "gamer" theme is a little childish on a very serious topic.

Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.;)

That you have done:D, enjoy.

Regardless, your child's gift trumps everything else. You may want to start pointing out the beauty of different wood grains though.

Sorry, but yeah.

Good thing is, you won't ever lose it in the woods!

EDIT: Just read it was from your kid. You gotta sport em now!

I got a camo slap bracelet in my stocking from my kids, and you can bet what I've been wearing the last few days ;)

Not my style, and if your child picked them out doesn't mean you have to sport them. I'm 265lbs and mine picked out a size medium shirt for me...sorry but not gonna wear it out of respect for the masses.

The only real issue is what do you use this firearm for. I have one of these and it's the gun I grab when I need to go check something in the middle of the night. I wouldn't want a "glowing" grip giving away my position or making me an easy target.

To each his own though, enjoy.

If my 5 (well, I have an 8 yo and a 2 yo) year old gave me some grips like those for one of my pistols, I would proudly wear them. They are different, which makes them nice. No need to go with what everyone else likes. I am sure those green grips won't make you any more visible in the dark than any sort of light reflecting off of your stainless anyway.

Personally, I want to gag every time I see a firearm in OD Green. It's all personal preference.

Are they ugly? Nope. Are they mainstream? Definitely not. Functional for their intended purpose? I bet they are.

I would always start the conversation with "Look at what my 5 year old picked out for me this Christmas. Aren't they great?"
