They should work . At that price I would not expect anything special but I would put them on a truck gun or one I carried constantly to preserve a better or original set of grips . I have an inexpensive oversized set of asian made grips on my old kit gun . I love the original magna grips but they are a bit small for my hands on my bunny/coon gun .

If you like them buy them .

PS: Like Merl67 said the shipping is a bit rough . If you look on ebay some more you will probably find that same set of grips that are already in the US with a lot better shipping . I bought several sets of 1911 Bone grips from a seller in the US that also sold the same grips shipped from the overseas factory . I paid less than half the os shipping for the ones already in country .

Well, the factory never made a set of plastic/hard rubber square butt 1930s stocks, but not sure why you want them? ebay sells lots of silver medallion walnut diamond service stocks and you can find them for $50 with some wear, but they would be factory original.

I sent you a PM.

For that rare gun, go for factory originals. They can be pricey depending on wear and although not the originals with matching serial # to your gun, they'll fit right/better and improve the gun's value instead of dragging it down.

You'll llikly prefer a later target style to shoot it with as well.

I was in your situation a while back ; I searched for and found originals.

New repros on a vintage revolver does not sit well with me.

Thanx Ralph.
Through all meandering in the world of K22-40's I firmly believe that none shipped in 1941.
That's my story and……

Well I reckon your meandering leads the pack by a wide margin---I was just going with my gut. I have a copy of the shipping records of the first bunch of 22/40s----first one out was March 14, 1940---followed by a bunch more in the next several weeks into----looks like mid April. That coupled with the fact they didn't make all that many to begin with had me wondering if they had any left to ship in 1941.

What is a '1941' .22 Masterpiece?

I don't know either, I posted the serial number on here a while back and someone told me that's when it was made I think.

I don't know anything about the gun other than it makes me look like a good shot.

Thanks everyone for you help. I think I need the Magna Square Butt Revolver grips anyway.
I will look for some of those. I have a set of nice target grips I shoot the gun with, I just saw those and thought they would make the gun more original. Thanks again.

I cannot say if any K-22/40s shipped in the first 44 days of 1941, but I can positively state that none shipped after Feb 13, 1941.
How does I know?
Read tha letter- :D
