The law took effect yesterday @ midnight; no permit required, except for places that serve alcohol, when needed for reciprocity states and maybe some other instances. Possesstion of a firearm is still prohibited for felons, those convicted of domestic violence, etc.

Next month will be the seven year anniversary of when Alaska went "permitless." :p

Congrats to Arizona for joining the land of the free. :D

Here's hoping that more states follow suit.
 
We have permits here in WV but we also have an Open Carry Law, although some of the cities have created their own laws blocking it.
 
Yeah, I don't want to carry in just Arizona. I spend a lot of time in NM and traveling. Also AZ and NM have laws that prevent cities from having laws more restrictive than the state.
