Looking for some 158 gr. jacketed for revolver practice at the range. Any word, good, bad or indifferent on Armscor? Price is reasonable, 15 - 16 bucks a 50.
I've sent several hundred rounds of the 158 grain .38 Special down range, never a problem. Clean enough, good for plinking. Won't fit factory moon clips shipping with the snubby J-frames, but otherwise, good to go.
The Armscor 158gr FMJ .38 spl shoots ok but is very light. Mine chrony`d in the mid 600`s to low 700`s in fps. I shoot it in a `43 Victory .38 spl.
If you reload, the brass is excellent.
