....authors and books, any love out there for James Patterson? I liked him better before he started writing with other people but Mike Ledwedge is okay. Patterson is weak in dialogue involving um romance. This guy helps him over the thin spots.

Anyhoo, I'm in the first 100 pages of BullsEye which he wrote last year. Its a Michael Bennet Story. No Alex Cross but not bad at all. to me his Cross books were excellent.

Would you like it? Well, all I can say about that is that if you like James Patterson books then you probably will like it. If not you probably won't. His books read real fast and he uses very short chapters. Never more than 4 or 5 pages.

I've always enjoyed his Alex Cross and Michael Bennett stories. I think he ran out of steam with Cross, though. As the series went on the stories became more and more derivative.

Kinda like the Danielle Steele romances my wife used to read. I read a couple once. She asked me what I thought. I said they are the same book with different names and a different location.

My wife liked his stuff as well as Danielle Steele.

She left me with a collection of hard covers that the local library didn't even want.

You can't even donate that stuff? I finally gave them all to the Salvation Army...... Drift Time!

Then they took the Salvation drop off point as well as the Goodwill's spot away to do it by the Town of Davie. Nope, I ain't going there. Political.

I'm happy to be away from there.

Never heard of either, what do they write stories about? As y'all know-for me it's gotta be mostly War and Western but, I can DO--some spy stuff too. :-D

Yep. Gave up on him years and years ago. Can't even remember the last one by him I read. It's on a bookshelf somewhere in this house.
