Paper Plates as Targets

For decades I've used butcher paper I buy in 100 yd. rolls cheap. I just cut targets from the 2 ft. wide paper by either cutting it 2 ft. x 2 ft. or cutting 12" squares, depending on the distance I'm shooting. I've used either a big felt pen to mark a bullseye, or bought rolls of black target pasters and just sticking them in the center. One side is waxed and shiny, the other is untreated and flat color. I stick or mark the dull side with the bullseye.
These 100 yd. rolls last a very long time!

Milwaukee's Best Ice 30 pack. Comes with a center divider with 15 imprints of the bottom of the cans.

I found a huge box of the old fan fold printer paper at work . Actually the office manager had asked me to throw it in the dumpster because it was taking up room in the supply closet . Sure , I'll get rid of it . I had free targets for a couple of years . I think I still may have some in the cabinet out in the garage .

Just bought a Ridgeline AR500 6" round target, 0.5" hardened steel for $23. I expect I won't ever need to buy another.

You're probably right - but you will need to buy spray paint to cover the bullet impact marks...:)

I've printed lots of B&W targets on my laser printer and colored the bullseye with a fluorescent red or orange highlighter.

I've also used a sharpie to mark a 1" black dot on dollar-store paper plates.

Both are a cheaper option than buying the cheapest commercial targets I've been able to find.
