"Members of the Judiciary Committee have received numerous allegations that the ATF sanctioned the sale of hundreds of assault weapons to suspected straw purchasers, who then allegedly transported these weapons throughout the southwestern border area and into Mexico," the senator wrote to acting ATF Director Kenneth Melson.

If this is true, it is very disturbing how far the government will go to trump up their phoney "stats" about US guns in Mexico. If true, someone high up in BATF&E needs to see some prison time.

Politically, if true, this could be the "smoking gun" that makes our case against BATF&E and the Brady Bunch, that much stronger.

CBS just did an expose', 2500+ guns were allowed to "walk" including 50 cal's under the watchful eye of the ATF, despite protests from gunshops. The gun used to kill the BP agent was one of them.

Where is the outrage and the outcry from Pelosi, Reed and crew? They sure wailed when Ms. Giffords got shot. How about the BP agent killed with a firearm they let be used under the auspices of the BATFE?

Where is the outrage? This will be kept out of the media as much as possible and it will be on few web-sites, other than those of the gun-owner ilk. What a sad commentary on the state of affairs besieging the USA right now, under this Administration. Sad, very sad......

I do. Don't lie, manipulate honest citizens, facilitate murder, and pressure honest gun dealers to break the law in an attempt to enforce the law in order to promote your own twisted set of values and enhance your career progression.
