I paid $110 for the "original" model. I had to send it back to be upgraded with the side supports. But man this thing works like butter!

It may be a little while till you see them on the internet, but you can call and ask.

Was the upgrade the piece of white delron and caution label on the sight pusher?

I've got one coming from Midway that was shipped on the 2nd and should be here tomorrow. Want to make sure that I am getting the upgraded sight tool.

Finally received it today after 7 days shipping from Kansas (1 state over). Sent UPS Surepost. UPS was fast, but it sat at the local post office for three days.

Its the new model and worked great on both the Shield 9mm and Shield .40 S&W.

Really? That's comforting to know. Just curious, what's different about a Kimber. The slide and sights on mine look pretty much like all the other 1911's in my arsenal.

Wow !! Did not know sight tools caused some much conversation, I am going to adjust my new S & W Shield 9mm by selling it !! Going carry my Talon II or Executive Carry.
