Winchester PDX1 in 165gr 40 S&W is what I carry in my M&P. It appears to be a bonded version of the Black Talon/SXT/Ranger LEO load, or something very close. The pictures I have seen of the expanded bullets look like the PDX1 doesn't open with quite as sharp jacket "talons" because the lead core stays bonded to the entire jacket. They probably make a slightly smaller wound channel, but better penetration. I have only tested to make sure they cycle OK through my gun, nothing on terminal ballistics. I think they will expand really well, and being bonded, should retain almost 100% of their weight. They are expensive however. I bought mine at Bass Pro Shop for $21.99 for a 20 round box. They're definitely made more to carry and less to shoot. But, original boxes of Black Talon are selling for about $55-$65 each on gunbroker. So you're getting a deal! Seriously, Winchester makes good stuff. You can get away with one box for a revolver. I had to buy two, to fill two 15 round magazines. Ouch.
