Living well over 100 miles from a theater, and needing closed captions, I had to wait to see Avatar 2 The way of the water.

The DVD arrived yesterday. A bit of a disappointment, I'm sorry to say. It didn't measure up to the original Avatar.

The ending was like the serials that used to play at the Saturday Movies years ago. Bad guy says "I'm gonna get you." and leaves the scene. :-(

That's just an easy way for the lazy writers to give themselves an opening for the next sequel. But it leaves the audience with no closure.

I thought it was pretty much the same as the original but loses something not being the original. Same story. A few new characters and locations. I would have rather re-watched the original.

The boys and I have not seen it yet but we look forward to it.

The global box office take was $2.3 billion. Folks seem to like it.

I'm looking forward to seeing it on dvd. I like BLUE.

I see the advertisement for the movie, Avatar, and ask myself "why". To me it would be a waste of time and money. No thanks.
