As for the ring pawning, maybe they parted on decent terms?

That's what makes it hard for us to count. How do you count the ones you marry more than once. He about busted his sides laughing.
 
We had a driver who had married some silly number of times and at least was a second go with an ex. I told him to go to Bandag and get retreaded next time.

Why any man would get married nowadays, is beyond me.

New Mexico is a good place to cohabitate - there is no recognition of 'common-law' marriages. If you live together 39 years, you're just friends.

Been married nearly 51 years, but I've been fortunate. A friend married five times and has been with his current wife 30-some years.

She probably had some ulterior motive none of us will ever know! She most certainly would not get the best price at the pawn shop her Ex owns, or any pawn shop for that matter.
