I'll take the waffles and whipped cream over the black and white pudding served at B&Bs in Ireland. Nasty stuff.

Long time ago, do not remember the name. It was located one street behind the main drag right in town about 2 or 3 blocks from the museum. It was in a old converted chuch that still had the steeple on it, the name as I remember had a chuch connotation to it. The owner's wanted to sell it to us
But decided to passdue to age and laziness. While there took a picture of wife sitting in a old claw foot bathtub with only a cowboy hat on. Guess you know picture is for private viewing only. Enjoy your trip.
Feralmerill's post about rooming houses and people letting rooms in the old days reminded me of a booming service nowadays: Airbnb. Check it out at Airbnb.com.
It is a new business where people let out everything from one room in their apartments to entire houses. All over the world. Everywhere. It is hugely successful, so naturally the hotel industry is trying to get the authorities to tax it to death in places like NYC.
There is another service, more downmarket, for the young backpacker set called Couchsurfing.
AirBnB did not exist until something like 2007, and is now valued at ~$7B.
Try the Cotton Palace in Waco to see what a B&B should be. If you don't enjoy it you might want to just stay home and not be a burden to others.
