On the M&P 2.0s, are backstraps interchangeable between full size and compact (4" barrel size) frames?
I was happy to find some Flat Dark Earth backstraps on eBay only to realize later that it said "full size", and saw other listings for "compact" (but wrong color).
I thought the frames were the same, the slides were just longer.

sigh I just blew $30 on nothing then. The guy's main description at the top of the page said nothing about full size or compact, I caught that only a few pages below, and he doesn't do returns. I already got the shipping notice.
Well, thanks guys, now I know not to get my hopes up.
I guess I'll just put them right back up on eBay.

Update: Just talked w/ the seller, if they don't work out for the 45acp model, he'll take them back.

2.0 vs 1.0 of the same size are interchangeable. I have a bunch of FS 2.0 backstraps for my FS 1.0. I bought a 5" CORE slide kit that came with CORE backstraps so I have options on color and texture.

Bear in mind that "Compact" is different from 1.0 to 2.0. Compact in 1.0 is 12 rounds (for 9mm). Compact in 2.0 is 15 (also 9mm).

So Compact in 1.0 is equivalent to Subcompact in 2.0.

Fullsize (FS) in 1.0 is equivalent to Fullsize in 2.0.

There is no equivalent to 2.0 Compact in 1.0.

Wow.. that's a mess to keep track of, isn't it?

I also have a bit of an oddball pistol, being that it's a 45acp version of the MP 2.0 Compact. (4" barrel). Most 3rd party mfgs act like it still doesn't exist; in every drop down box, when looking for a holster or other part, it'll list the 9mm and .40 versions, but never specifically the MP 2.0 Compact 45.
Maybe I'll get super lucky and SW made an exception for the 2.0 compact 45 such that the FS backstraps fit, (the slide is definitely wider than it is for the 9mm or .40) ... but probably not.
I just really like the look of FDE straps (or slide) on a black frame.

Thanks for the info! I'd read up on the compact models before and got confused between 1.0 and 2.0 models, so what you said clears that up.
