Anyone know of a company (or have experience with) backstraps that produce a "hump" to fit the palm of your hand, a la H&K VP9 or Canik TP9? I'm looking for something that gives me a more positive lock to my palm (and higher up), and I don't really feel like building up a custom strap just yet.

Thanks!

I would think if the various straps included with the gun dont seem to work, perhaps try something like a Hogue sleeve over different straps to find that right feel

I might suggest buying and accessory set of the four backstrap/inserts and sending them to Robbie Barkman at Robar. He's been modifying Glocks for some time now, and probably has the most experience making truly custom palmswell and length grips by reduction and addition of material.
I've found having small hands for a guy 6'2", the medium 2.0 is the "goldilocks" size.... "just right"

The large doesn't fit your needs?
I found that the large doesn't fit my palm as much as I like, and it feels too wide. What I was looking for is more of a pronounced "spine" on the grip (from the thumb web to the middle of my palm) that comes out more to the rear.

I had the same issue. I decided to modify the large backstrap by clipping that "wing" that curves up to the top of the frame. Basically, everything on the back-strap above that smoothed half circle line on the top of the backstrap. Clipped it off, blended it in with a hot pointer.

This allows the web of your hand to ride higher and deeper into the frame. Doesn't necessarily increase the size or create a palms-well, does feel like it though.

I did the same thing on another brand. Used the large BS and made it into a medium 'my way'. I find the different brands I have worked on, sand paper works real well. Even to doing it like you would in wood. Start w/ maybe 60 grit and work your way to about 320. I like to get sandpaper w/ a sticky back. I cut them into smaller pieces to stick onto a paint stirrer or around a dowel. Once you get to the final shape the plastic always looks kind of grey. Grab some hand lotion and rub it into the piece like you would your hand in winter. Let it sit 10 minutes and wipe it off w/ a towel. Your mod will be nearly invisible.

I have the crimson trace laser grips on both my MP9c and 9 Pro longslide,, the grips fit like the large,, but have an extra bump on each side that fits into the palm of your hand well!
