coat bacon with brown sugar

bake for cpl hours

turn over, coat with brown sugar

finish bakin the bacon

serve to your fat friends

Add a tsp of cayenne powder to the brown sugar and then sprinkle it over the bacon. Bake at 350 for 10-12 min or so, but careful it doesn't burn. Makes a great party appetizer as well as a snack.

I was working at the local In*el campus and the cafeteria had a redneck cook that made bacon with brown sugar and dried red chili peppers. It was awesome, had a cheese burger with double bacon every Friday!

Stopped at the new Sicilian bakery for a pound ($18!) of cookies and a loaf of bread
Cut two slices, toasted and buttered em
covered one with bacon and made a sandwich-wow!

I guess you could put me in the " I just don't care" category .
I have been eating Sicilian /Italian bread my entire life. There is an old brick oven Sicilian bakery in the city that is well over 100 yrs. old that I have been getting 3 ingredient Italian bread from since I was a little crumb cruncher. I can't stand store bought pasty white bread with all of it's preservatives and fillers. There isn't too much better than a double bacon and tomato samich on toasted Italian bread. :D
