...Dolce Sicilia...someone recommended the Polish delicatessen next door to my wife...we ended up in both places...good stuff...
 
Stopped at the new Sicilian bakery for a pound ($18!) of cookies and a loaf of bread
Cut two slices, toasted and buttered em
covered one with bacon and made a sandwich-wow!
Only do this if your cholesterol is good...
or you just don't care [emoji38]

I dont have cholesterol problems thankfully, but OTOH, dont care about that oncet in awhile intake either.:D
 
coat bacon with brown sugar

bake for cpl hours

turn over, coat with brown sugar

finish bakin the bacon

serve to your fat friends

The heck with giving them my cooking--ill eat it all myself (over a few days) and I aint as fat as I used to be.:)
 
Yesterday was a cooking program where the chief made an ice cream topping with fried bacon and maple syrup. Sounded real good and I'm going to have to try it!

Carnivals here been serving that for years but, I havent tried it----yet.
